Inhabitants will be relocated from flooded coastal cities to Des Moines, IA by the beginning of the next century. Prospect Park, located north of Des Moines along the river, exemplifies an adaptive urban planning solution that will accommodate this mass influx of people. The design is algorithmically generated based on site specific natural features including; the river, the topography and solar orientation - enabling the future ward developments to organically grow and develop according to human need.
